Launch Day
On October 28, 2022, the Arab World Tour of Culture and Civism
started.
This day was organized by the Cercle d’Études Scientifiques Pierre
Rayer, the Secours Populaire Français, and the Etoile Civique and
was the starting point of the “Arab World Tour” initiative.
The day began with an opening speech by Claude Bartos, President
of the Etoile Civique, who introduced the institution and the Arc de
Triomphe. This was followed by the Etoile Civique medal and
diploma awarding ceremony for the children.
Indeed, the Étoile Civique, an organization crowned by the
“Académie française.” honors dedication to others, paying tribute to
the acts and behaviors that demonstrate this; while distinguishing
from the humblest to the biggest those who contribute to the
enrichment of the collective heritage, to the improvement of the
social life, to the Humanity’s progress. The day continued at the Institut du Monde Arabe, where the children could visit the different
spaces and learn more about the Arab peoples and culture.

UNESCO
Finally, to close the dav, the young people who had come to Paris for
the first time went to UNESCO, where they were able to meet with His
Excellency Adam Al Mulla, Ambassador and Permanent Delegate of the
State of Kuwait to UNESCO. Mr Cissé Moussa Mahalmoudou. Advisor to
His Excellencv the Ambassador and Permanent Delegate of the
Republic of Mali to UNESCO and Mr. Toussaint Tiendrebeogo, Chief,
Diversity and Cultural Expressions, UNESCO, with whom they had a
privileged and inspiring exchange. In addition, they could discover the values. missions, and objectives of UNESCO through their presentation.
